In the app
The quickest way. It takes effect straight away.
- Open HeartOn and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted, and you are signed out.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, write to hearton1.in@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my HeartOn account”. Send it from the email address of your HeartOn account, or include the mobile number you signed in with. To protect your account we may ask you to confirm it is yours. We then delete it and let you know when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, relationship stage, living situation and time zone.
- Your card history, and your memories, including photos.
- Your Talk chat history.
- Purchase records, notification settings and usage events.
- Your sign-in account.
Copies in routine backups expire on their normal schedule. Google Play, the App Store and Razorpay keep their own records of any payments, as the law requires them to.
Before you go
- Deleting can’t be undone, and Premium on the account ends with it.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in your store account settings first, so you aren’t charged again.
- HeartOn doesn’t receive your WhatsApp chats with the psychologist, so deleting your account doesn’t touch them. They stay on WhatsApp.
See the Privacy Policy for more on the data HeartOn keeps.
